“A Wrinkle in Time” was my favorite book growing up. The heroes travel through various dimensions in space and time, much like I imagine through my art.  Coincidentally, the thought that lifted my spirits as I battled the love-hate creative process with this piece, was that I am so rarely satisfied with a finished painting because I’m constantly improving as a result of the practice.  This piece may or may not capture my entire life up to this moment - but it perfectly captures where I was at that very moment -- that wrinkle in time.
